Take Away Church (TAC)
Take Away Church (TAC), is a contemporary church, working within the community.
We are located in Watton at Stone, a village situated in the heart of Hertfordsghire, between Stevenage and Hertford in Hertfordshire.
Over recent years we have morphed in a number of ways.
We are trying to adapt to the changing landscape of society, and the needs and demands of the Church in the local community and the surrouding area
Our aim is to make church real, relevant and accessible to everyone - Children, Families and Adults alike.
TAC has come together as a Church Family, looking to be a support, and an encouragement - emotionally, physically and spiritually, to Families and Individuals.
We are currently engaged in supporting our local community and creating our own church fellowship intentionally creating a sense of belonging and ownership.
We base our faith and teaching on the Holy Bible...see our relevant page - 'What we believe'... for information on our statement of faith.

We are actively engaging in prayer about what God is leading us to do. Please join us in prayer support, as we seek to do the Lord's will in growing his kingdom here in the community and area.
It is amazing to see the reality and freedom of engaging with the Holy Spirit...and all that God is doing in our area - bring it on!

As stated on our Home Page, we are involved with supporting the local church wherever and whenever.
We are doing Contemporary Church...
We meet every Sunday at St. Andrew's and St. Mary's Church, the village and parish church - the one on the hill...

Sunday Service

We meet every week in the Able Smith Chapel within the main body of the church.

The Service is a simple service of worship and fellowship. We aim to make things as relaxed and accessible as possible, whilst trying to create a positive and engaging environment.
Please do not feel you have to leave...we are always happy to stay, pray, socialise, and do life!
After School Club

KidsSpace on Friday afternoon.
3.30pm - 5.30pm.
We provide hot chocolate and snacks on arrival from school.
The afternoon is made up themed arts and crafts, and play time, which is followed by 'Show and Tell'.
We have a Bible story and discussion time.
We have a time of singing with actions.
The afternoon finishes with supper...Pizza and Pasta!

Cost: £5.00/child, and £1.00/sibling.
A fruit snack provided for the children.
Breakfast smoothies for Mums, coffee and teas, cakes, and toddler lunches available at the TAC Tea Room.
Lunches available to order for Mums and carers.
